Had been using SWF & FLV Player to save online Flash ads to my desktop... but HERE, found how to capture Flash ads using the Firefox browser (no extra plugin needed).
How to download online Flash ads:
1- In Firefox browser's menu bar, choose: Tools> Page Info. Then the Media tab.
2- Select the swf file you want to download. (The swf files often are listed as Type: Embed.)
3- Click the save button, and save the swf file to your desktop.
4-To open the swf file, drag it onto the Flash program.
Viewing tip: While the file is playing, click and drag-open the bottom-right corner of the ad — that will show the backstage area around the ad; sometimes elements are waiting off-stage for their showtime.
There are about 40 sample Flash ads in: Ad Teams > Web Favorites > 40SampleFlashAds.
