Art of the Title.

More, More, More Movie (and TV) titles sequences! Visit the ART OF THE TITLE blog for more (Flash?) inspiration.
The French movie Le Souffleur, uses a "rotating 2D plane" movement style, similar to the titles for 300 (mentioned in May 11th's post).
The 3D'ing of 2D planes, seems popular. Here's an interview with the creators of  The Mummy 3 titles. They mention that the calligraphy was manipulated "... in 3D space in a 2D program." Maybe it's a 3D effect in Adobe Illustrator, then layers exported to Flash?
SMOG, Santiago (Chile) MOtion Graphics, created titles for the TV show El Don. Could the 2D graphics be animated in Adobe Flash? Some of the vector 3D effects might be created with a program like Swift 3D, then later integrated with Flash.
